The Housmans Infinite Jest

Reading Group

Infinite Jest Reading Group on Facebook

Starting Thursday 30th June 2016, Housmans is hosting a reading group for the David Foster Wallace cult novel, Infinite Jest. Each month we read a section of the novel and meet up to discuss it, and we'll keep going until we're finished.

Anyone is welcome, whether they've read the book before or are tackling it for the first time. All that's required is that you try and keep up with the reading (including the endnotes..). You are welcome to join (or leave!) the group at any time.

We meet on the last Thursday of every month, at 7:30pm, in Housmans Bookshop. You are welcome to brink soft drinks, snacks, coffee, beer, or whatever you need to get you in a David Foster Wallace frame of mind.

If you'd like to buy a copy of the book, you can get a 20% discount from Housmans - just mention the book club.

If you have any questions, email catherine[at]housmans.com, or visit the Facebook group for more information: https://www.facebook.com/groups/964458097002066/

If you plan on coming along, it would be helpful if you could mark yourself as 'Going' on the relevant Facebook event, or drop an email to catherine[at]housmans.com, to let us know how many people to expect.
