If you want to buy any of the books listed (or indeed any others), and you can't visit the shop in person, you're welcome to use our mail order service. We can accept your orders by post (5 Caledonian Road, Kings Cross, London N1), by phone during shop opening hours (020-7837 4473), by fax (020-7278 0444), or by e-mail (orders@housmans.com). As long as the books you've ordered are ones which we have in stock (if they're included on one of the lists below, they mostly are) they should be despatched within 24 hours. If you let us have your phone number and/or e-mail address with your order, we'll let you know if there's likely to be a delay in supplying any of the titles you want.

If you want your books sent to an "inland" destination (i.e. the UK, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, and BFPO addresses), then if your order value is less than £15 there's a flat-rate charge of just £1 per shipment for post & packing; if the cost of your order value is £15 or more, the books will be sent post-free. (Please enquire about costs if you want us to send books elsewhere in the world).

You can pay by cheque (£ Sterling only), which should be made payable to "Housmans", or by any major credit/debit/charge card. Cash (UK£/US$/Euro only) can be accepted, but it is sent at your own risk. Many books have payment buttons shown on the relevant booklist pages - in these cases you can use your credit card to order automatically online. For other books, or if you want to pay by any other method, please let us have your order by post, fax, phone, or e-mail, as shown above.
