Housmans publish ‘You Can’t Evict an Idea: What Can We Learn From Occupy’ by Tim Gee
On the 28th February 2013, the anniversary of the eviction of the Occupy Camp at the London Stock Exchange, Housmans published Tim Gee’s ‘You Can’t Evict an Idea: What Can We Learn From Occupy’, available as a free e-book and also as a £3 physical booklet.
Based on conversations with activists across the UK and US, ‘You Can’t Evict an Idea’ is a first-hand account of the Occupy movement, an assessment of the impacts, and an argument about what can be learnt.
The author, Tim Gee, wrote the essays whilst touring with his first book ‘Counterpower‘, which was short-listed for the Bread and Roses Award for Radical Publishing.
The volume will be the first ever e-book for Housmans, though the book will also be published in physical form.
