Solidarity campaign to support the people of Greece
In the face of Greece’s unprecedented political and economic crisis, Mikis Theodorakis, composer of Zorba’s Dance, and Manolis Glezos, veteran resistance fighter against the Nazi occupation, issued an appeal for a European Front to defend the Greek people and all those facing austerity in Europe. The pamphlet opens with this appeal, followed by analyses and proposals for action with the common goal of combating austerity measures and reducing the privatisation of everyday life.
This collection of writings accompanies a Greek solidarity campaign organised by the Coalition of Resistance and the People’s Charter and supported by trade unions, political parties, and campaigners across Europe.
